Level 2 started


Hi and thank you for reading.

The Crazy Cat Lady was created with the intention to be as chaotic as possible. Therefore there will be a lot of things in the game for the players to push around, break, pick up, and steal to create the most of havoc for the town. I have added our sprite turn around sheet for our protagonist.

We have now added a second level into the game. We had the level layout and planning completed but now that we have mostly gotten through level 1 we have added assets and textures into level 2. This is really exciting as now the game is looking more like a game. We are hoping to continue blocking out the rest of the levels this week so we can focus on other tasks. 

We have created enemies in the game to make the game more entertaining and harder for the player. We are planning on have 3-4 different types of enemies that will do a range of different actions, these are patrol, dog, turner, sprinter­­. The patroller will have a route that will take and they catch the player with an item on that route they will take it off the player and return in to its original place. the dog will guards an object and when the player takes the item the dog will chase the player to get an item for a certain distance. The turner, this enemy will have a station turning around giving them a blind spot for the player, lastly the sprinter, if the players comes in the view of the sprinter with an item the player will not have time to react before the item is taken off them by the sprinter.
